In March of 2021, detectives from 8 District with the Niagara Regional Police Service, commenced an investigation into an indecent act.
Investigation revealed that a 16-year-old girl was walking in the area of Garden Gate and Greenlane in Lincoln, when a male in a red pickup truck followed her then proceeded to park down the street. The female passed the truck and was able to observe the male committing an indecent act.
As a result of the investigation, detectives were able to identify a male suspect.
On April 30, 2021, the suspect was arrested.
Aaron David C Zukewich (33 years old), from the Town of Lincoln was arrested and charged with the following offences of:
- Criminal Harassment
- Indecent Act
Zukewich was held in custody pending a bail hearing expected to take place on May 1, 2021.
