Handgun reportedly 'shown' during St. Catharines altercation: Police

At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 10, 2020, 1 District (St. Catharines) uniform officers were called to a home in the area of Cumberland Street and Grandview Drive in the City of St. Catharines.

Investigation by officers with the 1 District detective office has revealed that the male suspects were involved in an altercation with another male inside the home where what is believed to be a handgun was shown. There were no serious injuries resulting from the assault.

The two male suspects then fled prior to officers arriving at the home.

They are described as:
    •    Suspect 1 – Male, approximately 16 years old with a thin build, dark hair, brown eyes and a black moustache
    •    Suspect 2 – Male, 20-29 years old, white with blonde hair

Detectives do not believe that this was a random incident.
