Driver suffers life-threatening injuries after car hits hydro pole

On Friday, Oct. 18, 2019 at approximately 11 p.m. the Niagara Regional Police Service, the Niagara Emergency Medical Services and the Lincoln Fire Service responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on King Street east of Bartlett Road in the Town of Lincoln, within the Regional Municipality of Niagara, Ont.

Initial investigation revealed that a 21-year-old Beamsville male was driving a 2005 Honda Accord motor vehicle eastbound on King Street east of Bartlett Road. The driver left the roadway and collided with a hydro pole. The male was transported to an out of town hospital with suspected life-threatening injuries.

This collision remains under investigation by the Detectives of the Niagara Regional Police Services Collision Reconstruction Unit.
