Arrest made after $25K in cocaine seized in St. Catharines

In Spring of 2021, detectives with the 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) Street Crime Unit commenced an investigation into the alleged trafficking of cocaine in the City of St. Catharines.

On Thursday June 10, 2021, detectives arrested a male suspect prior to a search warrant executed at a home in the area of Harbour Heights Lane and Crescentwood Drive.

Subsequently, over 250 grams of cocaine was seized, with a street value of over $25,000, and over $11,000 in currency.

42-year-old Bradley Dwyer is facing the following charges:
    •    Possession of a schedule I substance (cocaine) for the purpose of trafficking contrary to CDSA Sec. 5(2)
    •    Possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000 contrary to CC Sec. 355(b)]

Dwyer was released on Form 10 – Undertaking with a future court date.
