After a brief illness, Michael passed away peacefully at the NHS – Welland Site on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, with his family at his side. Michael is survived by his partner and best friend, Joanne (nee Dostie), his daughters: Ashley (Marc), Nicole and Cori and grandchildren: Konnor, Grace and Ruby. He also leaves behind his brother, John (Brenda). Predeceased by his parents, William and Mary (nee Pittaway).
Michael was approaching retirement from his current position as a fuel truck driver. He will be remembered for being a private and kind person who also liked to have fun and spend quality time with his small circle of friends.
In honouring Michael’s wishes cremation and a private family service has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Niagara Health System Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
