MORRISON, ERMA “Pat”

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Erma “Pat” Morrison on Friday, December 23, 2022. Erma was a long-time resident of Upper Canada Lodge in Niagara-on-the-Lake and just this past September had celebrated her 101st birthday. Erma was predeceased by her husband William “Bill” in 1984. She is survived by her son Bill (Karin) and daughter Mary Beth Corrigan (John), and grandchildren Billy (Katherine), Alex (Emily), Breanne (Peter), Kelsey (Darryl) and great-grandchildren Ethan, Grayson, Henry and Hudson. Erma was a thoughtful and considerate person, who, during the course of her life, never hesitated to place the needs of others before herself. Her kind and gentle nature was a hallmark of her personality and will never be forgotten by her family. Erma and Bill were the long-time owners of Morrison’s Red and White Food Store on Townline Road in St. Catharines, which they operated as a family business from 1950- 1984. A private family service will be held, with interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by her family.
