Passed away at Hamilton General Hospital on October 31, 2018 surrounded by his loving family, wife Lori, sons Ryan (Samantha) & Stephen (Michelle), daughter Vanessa (Kyle) and brother Craig (Doris) and sister in-law Karen. He also leaves behind to grieve, sisters Jan (Jim) Sue (Ron), brother Al (Heather) and several aunts & uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins. He will be joining his brothers Ken & Rob in heaven. He will be fondly remembered by his beloved grandchildren Cassy, Dakota, Garrett, Rylee & Emerson.
He was a longtime owner of Pirie Appliances, President of the Merritton Athletic Assoc, member of the Merritton Lions Club and past member of the Royal Canadian Legion of Merritton. He devoted almost his entire life to coaching lacrosse and hockey. Jimbo’s last “big big party” will be held at the Merritton Community Centre (7 Park Ave, St Catharines, ON) on Sunday November 11th from 2 – 6pm. Please bring stories, memories and most of all laughs.
