Vic Gicante of St. Catharines in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Joanne (Pepe) for 62 years. Dear father of Mary Jackson, Phyllis Gicante, Sandy Gigante, Gino Gicante (Roni-Sue), Vito Gicante (Roxanne), Joe Gicante and the late Joseph Gicante. Loving grandfather of Tara (John Epp), Emily (Brandon Timmer), Emilia (Kerron Homeward), Olivia Jackson, Sydney Jackson, Gabriel Jackson, Sandy Gigante Jr., Sabrina Gigante, Amanda (Mike Robinson), Nicholas Gicante, Jordan Gicante, Jasmin Gicante and great grandfather to Jaxon, Danika, Chayce, Masyn and Mya. Pre-deceased by his parents Vito Gicante, Mary Josephine (Cennamo) and Genoveffa (Marrocco). Dear brother to Carmen Gicante (Maria), Mary Josephine (Nazzareno Grossi) and Domenic Gicante. Son-in-law of the late Vito Pepe and Fiorina Pepe. Brother-in-law to Nancy (Jerry Della Vecchia), the late Carmela (surviving spouse Armand Difruscio), Peter Pepe (Marie) and the late Emilia (the late Vince Biancaniello). Uncle Vic will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. A private Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. THOMAS AQUINAS CHURCH, 316 Queenston Street, St. Catharines. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. A public Celebration of Vic’s life will be held at a later date.
