It is with great sadness we share that Bruce passed away peacefully at home in the early hours of December 2nd with his children by his side. Survived by his children Jason (Helen), Justin (Brandi), and Kimberly (David), as well as his twelve grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Also survived by Judith Callahan, and siblings Ron (Darlene), Robbie, Darlene, Judy, Janice (Dean), Kevin (Mary), Shelly (Mike), Becky (Mike), Darryl and sister-in-law Jane. Bruce will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Mary, brother Douglas, brother-in-law Andy and first wife Linda. Bruce’s passion in life was his family. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he encouraged each one in ways unique to them. We will all carry many fond memories of the good times we shared. Bruce proudly served with the 1st Battalion, Royal Canadian Regiment for 22 years, with service at home and abroad, retiring with the rank of Warrant Officer. A celebration of life will be held in Thorold at a future date. Donations in memory of Bruce can be sent to the Trillium Foundation in support of organ transplants. Forest Lawn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
