Virginia (Rossini) of Thorold in her 79th year, will now be reunited and "together forever again" with her husband, love of her life and "Honey", Marino (2012). Virginia is survived by her loving sons, Chris (Sheila) and Mark (Rosanne). Nonna to grandchildren Brandon (Ashley), Jordan, Matthew, Sarah, Anthony and Bisnonna to Sophia. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph (Peppi) and Mary (DeNardo) Rossini; in-laws Quinto and Santina Cecchini, and sister and brother-in-law Marcella and Primo Bettiol. Also survived by sister-in-law Marisa, nieces, Titzianna, Paola (Piera Poulo) and Viola – all of Italy; nieces Sandra (Peter and Brianna), Lutz, Lisa and Rita Bettiol of St. Catharines and many cousins. She enjoyed vacationing in Florida with her husband Marino, which they did for 12 years. Virginia had an extended family in Panama City Beach and was an honourary sister of Mary Zittergruen. She had a great love for family and friends and loved cooking and having friends and family around whenever possible, anytime was good for a cook-out, but now her "Closed" sign is up. Virginia loved her family, music, dancing, ceramics, cooking playing cards and travelling. Earlier in life, she was employed at the Thorold Community Credit Union, Confederation Life, Prudential Insurance and Bob McIntosh Financial Services. A special "thank you" to Nancy, Beth and Joan who have been there for support during the emotional and troubled times she went through. Virginia was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and an active member and served on the executive with the Thorold Seniors and played "500 & Euchre".
