It is with great sadness and heartache our family announce that Giuseppe “Joe” passed peacefully on January 4, 2023. Husband of Fernanda and loving father of Anna and Michael (Shelley). Loving Gogo (Nonno) of Charles (Carla), Alessandra (Cory), Tia (Spencer) and Kaila (Cass). Bisnonno of Charlie, Avery, Theo and Lucio. Predeceased by his parents Michele and Anna, his sister Fenice (surviving spouse Michele), brother-in-law John, sister-in-law Maria and brother-in-law Pasquale. Joe is survived by his sisters Franca, Renata (Sidio) and Bruna (Pino). He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy.
Everyone who knew Joe “the Barber” knew his love for his family, his contagious smile and that his clients were his friends. Friends will be received at Bocchinfuso Funeral Home 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 2:00- 4:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 9, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish 21 Queen Street South, Thorold. Rite of Committal Lakeview Cemetery.
