In Peewee Newman Electric's fifth playoff game, Wesley Dionne scored player of the game for playing all out smart hockey. With his head up always looking for the man in front and the next potential play to help his team take a lead, his speed and assistance dropping back to cover was clear throughout all three periods. A tough battle of point for point between Thorold and Wainfleet Wild #1 turned over to a tough 3-2 loss.

Thorold's final playoff game held some pressure to stay at the top of Group A’s playoff leader board. Two players of the game came out with a bang, Cole Kelly and Ethan Miller. Cole scored a hat trick for his team and broken arm buddy, Jaxxon. He started the team off with his first goal on the very first shift which kicked a burst of energy into his team. The second player of the game is Ethan Miller who scored his first goal of the season at a crucial time for his team to stay in the lead against the Welland Tigers 1.
