After a successful pumpkin carving contest and pumpkin walk, The Village Church in Thorold is now looking to spread some holiday cheer through the magical art of gingerbread house making on Sunday, December 5th.

The festivities will kick off at the Thorold Community Activities Group (TCAG) at 11.30am where a gingerbread house contest will be held. You’ll get to decorate a gingerbread house and enter it for competition. Beverages and pizza lunch will be provided.

Then, between 1pm and 3pm, a gingerbread house walk will take place in the gym of the TCAG. There will be hot chocolate and live music, and more than 50 creations on display, as well as all the gingerbread houses from the contest.

Admission to both events is free, but registration for the contest and the walk is required.
