Nature is everywhere

You don't have to be in the Canadian wilds to see some of its beautiful wildlife.

This hawk paid a lengthy visit to Chapel Street, near the Lock 7 Viewing Centre, before heading eastward across the Canal.

There are many raptors, including hawks, in the area which are frequently seen early in the morning or early evening. Deer, fox, and other winter birds are also in abundance, most often in the rural areas but occasionally showing up right in your own backyard.
