Henry D’Angela appointed to Niagara Police Services Board

Former Thorold Mayor and Regional Councillor returned to the Police Board as community member.

At its meeting held on March 28, 2019, Regional Council approved the recommendation to appoint Mr. Henry D’Angela to the Niagara Police Services Board as a community member.

As a former member of the Board and Regional Councillor, Mr. D’Angela understands the work and mandate of the Police Services Board and has the ability to work well with both the Board and stakeholders. This appointment is for the remainder of the term of Council.

The Niagara Police Services Board is the civilian body governing the Niagara Regional Police Service and is comprised of seven members: three Regional Councillors, three Provincial Government appointees and one community member appointed by Regional Council.
