COVID-19: Case count in Niagara climbs above 200 again today (November 29)

Close to 45 cases confirmed over the weekend

NRPH confirmed 19 new cases of Covid-19 in the region on Monday.

After a weekend with just under 45 newly confirmed cases, the number of active infections being tracked by Public Health climbed above 200.

The death toll remained unchanged at 439.

Despite the increases seen over the weekend, the number of hospitalized patients remained at 10, with one case in the ICU.

5 are fully vaccinated, 4 unvaccinated and 1 partly vaccinated according to the hospital system.
