Covid-19: Another Niagara resident dies, active cases drop on Wednesday

Another Niagara resident has died following testing positive for Covid-19.

On Wednesday, the death toll increased to 435, along with 10 new confirmed cases in Niagara.

The number of active cases dropped to 122, with 17 new recoveries.

Thorold has 8 active cases, a number that has been decreasing over the past week.

St Catharines has the highest number, with 51 known confirmed Covid-19 cases.

14 patients are hospitalized according to Niagara Health.

11 of them are unvaccinated, and 3 fully vaccinated.
