COVID-19: Active cases drop below 200 on Tuesday in Niagara

The number of active Covid-19 cases in the region dropped below 200 again on Tuesday after 52 recoveries were registered.

The drop came along with 13 newly confirmed infections.

The death toll remained unchanged.

Niagara Health reports 13 patients currently admitted with Covid-19, and a drop in ICU admissions from 3 to 2.

6 patients are fully vaccinated, 6 unvaccinated and 1 partially vaccinated.

All hospitalizations are recorded in patients aged 65 and up.
