COVID-19: 361 new cases reported today

Niagara Public Health reports one more Niagara resident has died after testing positive for COVID-19, bringing the region’s official death toll to 452.

361 new cases were reported on Thursday, bringing the official active case count to 5,599.

The numbers only reflect the officially reported cases, which should be interpreted with caution, said the health agency.

92 patients are being treated for COVID-19 in the hospital, with 54 others being treated primarily for other conditions also having tested positive.

Out of 24 ICU patients, 15 are unvaccinated, said Niagara Health.
