COVID-19: 29 new cases in Niagara today as area hospitals see decrease in patients

NRPH reported 29 new cases of COVID-19 in Niagara on Monday after a weekend of similar case numbers.

Following 28 recoveries registered on Monday, the number of active cases is now 285. 21 of those cases are in Thorold, while Niagara Falls and St Catharines both have around 80 cases.

The official death toll is now up to 428, with three deaths recorded in the past week.

Niagara Health has noted a decrease in hospitalized Covid-patients, with 7 patients being the latest reported figure.
