Friday afternoon saw the presentation of three cheques to the Thorold Community Care office.
The first one was in memory of Canal Bank Shuffle, Founder and Artistic Director, Tim Sinnett (family choice of charity). A total of $500 - $250 from Donnelly’s Pub and a second cheque of $250 from the Canadian Corps, Unit 44. This was from two Blues events held at the Corps on October 15th and 17th (the usual weekend of the the Canal Bank Shuffle).
The second one was for $500 from Donnelly’s Pub Thanksgiving Dinner Fundraiser. $5 from every dinner contributed to Community Care. Joe and Tammy Viele made the cheque presentation.
At the cheque presentations were: Maxine Hutchings from Community Care, Joe Viele and Tammy Viele Donnelly’s owners, Mike Reid of the Canadian Corps, and Cathy Liddycoat, Karen Blackley and Terry Ugulini from the Canal Bank Shuffle.
