Zero cases of COVID-19 on Monday in Niagara

After Niagara Public Health confirmed 7 cases fo COVID-19 this weekend, no new cases were reported on Monday.

The number of active cases has now dropped to 35, despite the increase over Saturday and Sunday.

Lincoln continues to be the municipality with the highest number of cases not yet cleared.

The historic total of Niagara residents who have tested positive is now 916. At least 64 people, primarily residents of long-term care homes have died after contracting the virus.

On Monday, only a single health-care-related outbreak remained. Garden City Manor in St Catharines has had an ongoing outbreak since June, during which time several institutions have reported, and cleared, any cases in residents or staff.
