Adopt Me! Smokey has been in the shelter for too long – she just wants a home

Two new adoptable friends available through LCHS

ThoroldToday features adoptable pets via Lincoln County Humane society weekly. For any inquiries about these adoptable friends, reach out to LCHS directly.

This week we would like to feature Smokey and Churro!

Smokey is a laid back senior girl who enjoys pets and would love a home where she can just retire and spend time lounging, gazing out a big window, and cuddling with her humans. She’s a quiet and easy going girl, who doesn’t always love to be picked up but definitely enjoys attention. Smokey is currently eating a prescription kidney diet. Make sure you check out her cute toesies. Having been at the shelter for so long, she's getting a bit fussy and has a bit of an attitude, but can you blame her? Once she finds her furever home, she's sure to settle back into her loving, cuddly self.

Churro - Male Chihuahua - 1 1/2 years old  ID # 48503622
Churro is a sweet little nugget who is also an old soul. He loves to sit on his person's lap and snuggle in. He wants an adopter who is gentle and who understand that he'll need some time to settle into his new home. He potentially could be a flight risk at first if he's nervous so he'll his adopters will need to teach him to be a brave boy. Churro's perfect home has no children under 8 years old.
