ADOPT ME! Fintra just wants to be cuddled in a safe home

This week we would like to feature Charlie and Fintra.

- no kids under 16 (adult only home ideally)
- no dogs

- fenced yard 6ft

Notes from Behavioural Testing:

Charlie is a doll once he warms up to you. His new family will need to teach him how to properly greet new people. His perfect home has a fenced-in yard, is an adult home only, and has no other pets. They will need to be committed to training this boy. Professional training will be a must. Once he trusts you and knows what's expected from him, he is a pleasure to be around!

Notes from Foster Mom:

Charlie continues to be a sweet, playful, and obedient little guy. He’s thrilled to go on walks but also is good to just chill out at home. He’s progressed well on our daily walks. Initially, he was fearful of people when we were walking and would bark and occasionally lunge at people. For the most part, he does not do that anymore unless the person has a dog and in that case, he may get scared. He’s been very responsive to training, especially if there are a few treats involved.

Charlie sleeps in his crate every night without any issues. He patiently and quietly waits there until it’s time to come out. He never whines or barks in his crate. He’s also been really good in the house… with no accidents or destruction. Although a few toys and his leash were chewed.

Charlie loves to snuggle up, especially at night. I think Charlie will be best in a quiet home with no other pets. He will make a sweet and loyal companion in his forever home.

Fintra is a sweet old man. He is very confident and will come up to you for head scratches and cuddles right away. He can easily be picked up (although he is a little heavy) and will jump right up on your lap to get love. Fintra is a calm quiet guy who would like to spend his days lounging in a sunny spot on your couch. Fintra does not enjoy the base of his tail being touched. Fintra lived with dogs in his previous home and was very scared of them. He would be best suited as the only animal, or cat in his new home. We do not know how he is with other cats. When Fintra came in he was severely matted. We had to shave these mats of and he now a stylish lion hair cut.
