ADOPT ME! Finn is a lap cat who likes to be scratched on his cheeks and chin

Also available at LCHS is the 2-year-old Shepherd Greta

ThoroldToday.ca features adoptable pets from LCHS weekly. For any contact, please contact the Lincoln County Humane Society directly.

Greta, A47539416
Shepherd X, Female, 2 years old.

* Greta is still with her pups and will be with them until the week of June 13th.

Greta was rescued by an out-of-town shelter after she was found running at large. They kept her for three weeks, and sadly, no one missed her, and no one claimed her. The LCHS was contacted to assist with rehoming Greta, as she was not doing well in their care. Soon Greta was in the care of LCHS.

Greta was hiding a little secret that went unnoticed until she arrived at LCHS, on April 14. A quick x-ray confirmed what we thought... Greta was going to be a mom and it would happen very soon!  On April 18, Greta blessed LCHS with 8 little pups: 3 boys, 5 girls. These pups will be posted soon - stay tuned!

She is “perfect” in the eyes of our behaviorist. She is active and very loving. Greta has been working hard to shed her baby weight with her favorite activity; playing fetch. Sometimes she would rather remain outside, continuing to play. Greta’s perfect home would have a fenced yard, family members over 6 years of age, and no other animals, as she is very reactive. She is not a dog park candidate, but would definitely make an amazing companion in the right home!

Finn

Finn is a sweetheart. Once he gets to know you and trusts you he will climb into your lap for snuggles. He loves to be pet especially on his cheeks and chin. This loveable guy has a lot of personality and is sure to keep his adopters entertained. Finn is very territorial his demeanor changes when he sees or smells another cat. He becomes very irritated. He will need to be the only animal in his new home. Fin is occasionally unpredictable and is best suited to an adult only home, or a home with older children.
